Jimbelunga Nursing Centre offers and provides for our residents, community and staff an environment where hope, happiness and harmony exist for all. With the support of residents, families, the community and staff, we aim to achieve the spiritual, emotional, cultural, social, physical well being, including quality nursing care for all and to bring a sense of ownership and belonging to a secure and safe environment. To gain admission, each potential resident must first undergo an ACAT assessment. This will ensure that new residents receive the necessary level of care to meet all the their needs. Jimbelunga means....... A Place of Friendship. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the area, the Yugambeh people. Jimbelunga was established to meet the Cultural and Spiritual needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We are very proud of the fact that the facilities currently cater for a wide range of people from other Cultures. The centre was officially opened on 19 November 1994.
